What text needs to be included in your logo?*

1. Where will you logo be utilized? Will it be primarily digital? Will you put it on lots of merchandise like shirts or hats? Will it be on print materials like signage or business cards? 2. List 3-5 words best describe your business and how you want your business to be perceived? (For example: trustworthy, strong, bold, educated, modern, traditional) 3. Do you have a vision for your logo already? (If you don’t have strong vision that's okay. Sometimes this freedom allows our designers tailor something to your with their years of experience in logo design. Any concepts you do have that you want to tell us about, please describe them below)4. Do you have any colors already associated with your business or organization that need to be reflected in the logo?5. Do you have any established typography associated with your business?6. Do you need a logo that is text only or one that has an accompanying icon that can be used with the logo or separated? (Think of the Nike swoosh and how it is used with the text Nike, the swoosh can be used on its own, and the text Nike can be used on its own as well).7. Since your logo will make the first and likely the most lasting visual impression with your prospective clients/customers, the messaging behind it is very important. This can be in the form of a tagline like Nike’s “just do it”, and it is also embedded that the logo itself is designed (the sense of motion implied in the swoosh, the bold text for NIKE, the slant to the letters giving them motion as well, all implying a bold, active lifestyle, moving ever forward.) What do you want your logo to say (not literally, unless you have a tagline you want us to use), but rather what is the most important message/concept about your company that you want to convey through your logo, your best, first impression?
